The studio had a small balcony offering a nice spot to enjoy the fresh mountain air. The overall decor of the apartment was appealing and cozy.
Several drawbacks stuck out. The shower head seemed ridiculously small and did not perform well. Hallway lights were on timers that were too short, so each time you moved between floors, you had to fumble for the switch. The ambiance overall felt a bit dark and cramped in common areas, particularly since the lounge and bar were unlit . Expect to travel a bit if you want dining options, as not many sit within a close range.

spotlessly clean hotel, and the staff were very helpful, location was perfect very close to the furi lift in a quiet part of town within walking distance of the pedestrian shopping street. location: the venue was so close to the river going through the city as well as the restaurant.

Staying in a historical building added charm, and I appreciated the excellent breakfast spread. The in-house ski room was convenient for my gear after a day on the slopes, enhancing my ski vacation experience.

Should you go for it? My answer
We were fortunate to have a balcony overlooking the Matterhorn, amazing. The room was spacious and clean. Though the walk from the train station was uphill, the fine views made it worthwhile. Breakfast options were decent, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

Our stay in the hotel was fantastic as we were given a room in the 4th floor with a balcony that has a very nice view of Matterhorn. The room is very clean and all the bed sheets, pillow cases, carpets, towels and sofa bed smell good. My kids enjoyed sleeping on the sofa bed. The bed is thick but not hard. Everything is arranged neatly and nicely. The room is well arranged and designed according to your needs. It has big locker with plenty of hangers, every corner has cupboards to put things on, there are seats on the balcony to relax, and there is an area to hang your wet clothes. Scenery on the balcony is awesome as you watched the Matterhorn. There is also a spa and a small gym. The breakfast is great. I love very much the fresh fruits that they served. It is very lovely to be served by their smiling staff wearing their colorful dress. It's location near the cable car station is nice. Though a little bit expensive, we loved our stay in this hotel.
We were not informed that if we checked out after 12 pm, we will be charged 30chf. We are willing to pay but at least they have told us earlier so that there will be no surprises. We don't like the dog lying in front of the reception.

We had an very nice time hanging out with friends. The breakfast was great with fresh options, and we enjoyed the good location, allowing us easy access to skiing and hiking. The staff was friendly. Definitely explore the area. A week is ideal for more fun experiences!
One downside was the limited options for dining in the hotel, which left us venturing out for meals.

amazing view but uphill walk
The one-bedroom apartment with a balcony and Matterhorn view was really good. I loved the spacious living area, made relaxation easy after a day exploring. The kitchen was well-stocked with quality pots and pans, and I can honestly say the bed provided one of the most restful sleeps I've ever experienced. Waking up to the mountain view every morning was a definite highlight.
The uphill walk from the train station can be quite challenging.
